Within this Brave New World society, there is a great tension that exists between two conflicting or interactive forces. A dialectic is also known as a Hegelian process which is the process, in Hegelian and Marxist thought, in which two apparently opposed ideas, the thesis and antithesis, become combined in a unified whole, the synthesis.
This factor is greatly displayed in this book for there is John, the savage, whose belief does coincide with the belief of the entire World State. John believes that the World State is corrupted and the dictators there no that as well. The dictators know that they are oppressing the people of that society, but the people of their society are unaware of that because they are so happy and drunk with soma that they don't even realize that. So I ask everyone. Is there other dialectics within our world today? What is your intake on this?
