Meaningful Predictions

This is weird, creepy, or just sheer coincidence. I have been thinking about the prophecy of Huxley's Brave New World, how it was accurate enough to make people like us wonder and think about if there are other people who can predict our future and if it’s real, like Nostradamus'. Then I saw the movie "Knowing," that is about a child's predictions of accidents that started from 1959 up until 2009. In the middle of the movie I heard some unclear conversations from the movie, which is the letter "T" once or twice, but it maybe a word that just sounded like it. Then the ending of both stories are sad, both shared the same fate. Does this mean that we predict our future too like Huxley's? Maybe it might happen, who knows, we build our own steps to our future. All of this might depend on what we believe in and what we do, for example, the controllers and the citizens believe in Ford's ways.

There is meaning and purpose in everything that happens. However, it is all too rare for anyone to understand the entire meaning. To find meaning in each of the uncountable events happening everyday to every person, it vexes the mind even considering it. However, even realizing that a single event may have meaning in itself, that event alone has significance. I even believe that asking yourself "Why?" has its own meaning. When will we start relying on technology so much that we might forget the basic meanings of life itself like in the Brave New World?
